MUTUAL ASSISTANCE PROCEDURE
If you are facing tax treaty-related disputes with the tax authorities, you may tap the Mutual Assistance Procedure (MAP) mechanism for a resolution. These include disputes resulting from a transfer pricing adjustment, a ruling on your residency status, a correction of the profit attributed to a permanent establishment, and interpretation of the tax treaty provisions which you consider inappropriate. This is not an alternative to the remedy you may seek under the domestic law. Rather, you can use the MAP in addition to that.
