Previously worked as a tax consultant in PricewaterhouseCoopers Indonesia (PwC) for 11 years, his last position being a senior manager and had a leadership role in tax area at Asia Pulp & Paper group (Sinarmas) dan PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk.
Michael has broad experience advising and assisting multinational companies engaged in service provision, manufacturing, trading, construction, telecommunications, plantations, forestry, mining, real estate, automotive, shipping, healthcare, education, and non-profit
Michael completed his master degrees in accounting from Trisakti University Jakarta Indonesia in 2020 and graduating from bachelor degree graduate of the Economics Faculty of Tarumanegara University Jakarta Indonesia majoring in accounting in 1995. He is a Chartered Accountant and also a licensed tax consultant with the highest qualification (Brevet C) and a holder tax court’s license to act as a proxy. In his capacity, Michael can represent you to deal with the ITO in virtually all tax affairs such as tax audits, tax objections, tax ruling requests etc., and in litigation process before the tax court.
Michael has a proven record in helping prominent multinational and national companies solve their tax problems arising in tax audits as well as tax disputes in tax objections and litigations. He was also involved in a number of M&A projects with the main task of conducting due diligence review of the targets’ tax affairs and advising the acquirers regarding relevant tax issues.
