EXPATRIATE PERMIT SERVICES
Expatriates employment in Indonesia is subject to a number of requirements. To begin with, as a sponsor, you will need to draw up an Expatriates Employment Plan (“RPTKA”) setting out all the expatriates you are going to hire for a certain period along with their respective position and the local counterpart and get it approved by the Manpower Department. Next, for each individual expatriate covered in the plan, you need to get a License to Employ an Expatriate (“IMTA”) – largely misnamed as a “Work Permit”. Finally, once the employment license is in your hand, you will have to get a Stay Permit (“KITAS”) for the expatriate concerned and each of his/her family members who will stay in Indonesia.
Updates are required on an annual basis for all the three (RPTKA, IMTA, and KITAS). By the time an expatriate employment comes to an end, ensure to have the expatriate concerned and his/her family members to go through the “Exit Permit Only” (EPO) procedure. They will get their passports stamped with date by which they will have left Indonesia.
PreciousNine helps you to get all the required permits and licenses as well as go through the formalities.
